Generation can be defined as a succeeding stage in the reproduction of an original copy. In other words, generation is also known as procreation, which means producing offspring. But the generation we are talking about over here is the stage of natural descent. In the present time’s generation, a group of people is born into and shaped into by a specific time period.

Generation Z

There are great deals of different kinds of generations when talking about generation Z. It includes people who were born from 1994 – present. But from these generations, we are going to discussing generation ‘Z’. The trends of the generation like cultural, social class and others that might have an impact on purchasing trends Generation Z over the next two decades will be discussed.

The people who are born in this era are growing up way too quickly and are leaving schools and entering the workforce at a very rapid pace. The people from the era are called the ‘I’ generation, that is, the internet generation. They cannot live without any form of technology, from a cellular phone to a laptop. The usage of cellular phones and their technology is like second nature to them. They learn to use a cell phone at a very early age. The cultural and any other trend except for the social class cannot have an impact on their buying behaviour. The reason why social class has an impact on their buying behaviour, because it has a very strong influence on an individual, especially on generation ‘Z’ because they are still teenagers and teenagers are very gullible and easily convinced. And having a mobile to them means that they have a status, and if they have an especially expensive one, they have more status in their social network.
