In the system map, there are many subsystems with elements that are the components that make the system map. The first subsystem is the Admission and College Rules. These define how admission is granted to the students, requirements for gaining admission, schedule of fees, documents required for admissions such as marks cards, recommendation letters, and others. The subsystem can also include factors such as obtaining financial aid and scholarship. The sub-task would also point out factors such as the schedule of the course, expected duration, and others.
The next subsystem is the requirement of the course, and these will include details of the major and minor subjects, lectures, submissions, exams, and other factors. These are the core areas of the course and would relate to the student hope to gain from the course. Students can opt for majors in history, business, marketing, law, and many others, along with minors and elective subjects. Also included in this subsystem are faculty, friends, and others who would form the circle of acquaintances with whom the student would interact during the course.
The student would be expected to attend the lectures, take down notes, understand the subjects, speak with friends, and share problems and solutions. The next subsystem is the library, where the student is expected to borrow books and other course material. The library may be a physical library or an online one. The other subsystem is the career expectations of what the student would do after clearing the course. Options are further studies, placements, and others that would help the student to make a career choice.
