My educational institution values diversity, and this can be seen in its multicultural workforce and the diverse student population. In addition, my educational institution has specific mechanisms and services aimed at ensuring that all students and employees, regardless of their background, feel that they are part of the institution. For example, the institution has a department that offers special services to disabled students. This helps these students in dealing with the challenges that may interfere with their ability to learn.

In valuing diversity, my educational institution also offers support and specialized services to minorities and foreign students. These services are meant to help minorities and foreign students to blend in and feel comfortable during their stay in the institution. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds are also assisted by my educational institution. This is achieved through offering different types of financial assistance. My institution also values diversity by making sure that people from different gender and ethnic backgrounds are represented in the workforce and the student population. This is normally achieved through various affirmative action programs.

In valuing diversity, my educational institution also offers special education services to students who have learning disabilities. This enables these students to learn with ease and feel equal to other students. From these special programs, it is evident that my educational institution values diversity and thrives on making sure that the needs of groups that can be considered as minorities are addressed. In addition, the above services offered by my educational institution make sure that all members of the institution feel valued and part of the institution. Based on this, I believe that my educational institution values diversity.
