The usage of computers in both elementary schools, classrooms, and colleges is extremely important not only for students but also for the tutors. The benefits of using computers in learning and teaching cannot be gainsaid. First, computers are capable of handling a variety of activities. Second, computers are capable of performing programming functions at higher speeds. Third, computers are capable of examining the assignments subsequent to being done by the students. Fourth, computers are capable of moving learners steadily from many simple exercises to exercises that are hard. In doing this, they take into account the extents of abilities of the students.

If a student does not succeed in answering a particular query accurately, the computer has the capabilities of first and foremost arousing, second, drill, or even describing the fact in a manner that makes it much simple for the student to comprehend the question. Similarly, if the student is unable to perform activities accurately, the computer has the ability to arouse, second, drilling and even describe the fact in a manner that facilitates easier comprehension of the activity. Nevertheless, it is important to keep in mind that computers cannot create a valid difference in language training.

Fifth, it has been discovered that computers escalate the confidence of a student. Generally, computers do bring about interest to those students who use them and even amusement. The nature of confronting which is presented by computers is seen as escalating the potentiality of usage of computers in schools many more schools. Last, computers are used in schools in teaching and reading mathematics since they augment satisfaction.

Therefore, it is apparent that the usage of computers in teaching and learning assists in improving the performance of students. Furthermore, it aids in improving their confidence in a particular subject or course. To my mind, students in schools that do not have computers acquire the same level of education as compared to those students that are taught using computers. However, the main difference is that as a result of the aforementioned benefits regarding the usage of computers, the students in schools or colleges that have computers have an added advantage and are likely to perform better in examinations in comparison to those students who have been taught without computers.
