The present state of ethics in the workplace is very devastating. This is because of the nature and the way people in these workplaces behave when managing various departments of the companies they work for. Many organizations are now not prospering and growing as they are supposed to. The kind of leadership that is portrayed by many leaders and workers does not reflect the presence of ethics in these institutions. Culture, which is supposed to guide and show people the way, is no longer put under major consideration. Moreover, there is a breakdown in the levels of literacy of the workers and the leaders of many institutions. This is based on the kind of outcomes that these organizations are exemplifying.

Ethics play various roles in society. They are the custodians of peace and unity among the people. They bring good and moral leadership among the leaders of the communities. Moreover, they enable the daily running of these human institutions to go on well, as they make profits from their undertakings. In the teaching profession, there are a number of ethical issues that have to be put under consideration for the betterment of the entire school. This translates to the performance of the teachers and the students. In these institutions, like other learning institutions, the state of ethics has been proved to go down.

Many prospects have been passed as the major reasons for the plunge in the standards of ethics in schools. Teachers are not performing their duties as they are supposed to. Moreover, you will find many students engaging in activities that are very unethical in life. Most non-profit making organizations are very tarnished in breaking the rule of the social norms in society. This has therefore been the major reason for the weakening of the ethical standards in many human settings in modern lifestyles. Moreover, many decisions are made based on selfish grounds.
