The world always shows diversity in a very vast range. “A philosophy that recognizes ethnic diversity within a society and that encourages others to be enlightened by worthwhile contributions to society by those of diverse ethnic backgrounds.” The above is the definition of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism always adds to the social and cultural development of the people. The East-West or male-female, or Christian-non-Christian all are viewed as centers of different cultures. The acceptance of these diversities brings about the sharing of different concepts on the same matter by different cultural groups.

If the analyses of each cultural group are carried out, a separate mode of living, belief, faith, myths, architecture, etc., can be seen. The mingling of all these cultural diversities will result in a society with the development of the entire aspects of it. The architectural and artistic methods coexist, which helps in the expansion of societal creativity. The East-West diversity donates much to the coexistence of music, language, architecture, costumes, eating habits which results in the amalgamation of various traits of culture. The male-female cultural diversity is an essential one for the flourish of society. The Christian-non-Christian cultures can coexist to provide a diverse, varied set of faiths and beliefs.

The people supporting the existence of multiple cultural centers identify that it helps each cultural group to exhibit its own diversity within the society. All diversities will have their own positive as well as negative points which will add to the development of the society. The society giving equal status to all existing varieties will have a better tolerance factor among those multiple cultural centers. The story shows that the culture existing at various ages is not static; it just changes accordingly and adaptively. Always these changes are taken up from the varied prevailing cultural aspects. That implies the real-life fact of the influence of multiple cultural centers in society.

The existence of multiple cultural centers cannot be accepted as just political values with diverse fillings or a theoretical aspect of a unique principle of human’s living in the universe, but it implies the prevalence of various living modes and beliefs of various individuals. The innermost views of a cultural center can be operated out through thorough investigation to sort out the significance of their existence. But the misconceptions on the matter are imposing a strong opposition on the favorable acceptance of the coexistence of the multiple cultural centers.
