Research design can be defined as the scientific model that helps in creating research that will be quantifiable, replicable, defensible, and verifiable. Normally, the model can be flexible but it is often used in the day-to-day life and it often brings evidence for any research or a report that one does. Normally there are research designs such as quantitative research design is always aimed at checking what kind of company has put in place work balance all the programs that are aimed at improving the employees their performance of work.

Research methods can be expressed as the methods that an employer or a company does in order to check the work-life conflicts with the employee and upon doing this, information will be recorded and be used to determine why many employees choose to neglect their duties and the fact that organizations are the source of all these problems. After conducting research methods several strategies and techniques are always used to conduct research in order that the information that is specified can be kept for the other generation who will manage the organization can be clear for them to discover.

Apart from their definition, some comparisons can be categorized as follows. Research design differs from research method in that it is a form of conducting research either from an organization so that certain problems or situations can be rectified in order that mistakes can be avoided from repeating themselves in the future. Moreover, these designs are used so as better and defensible information can be studied and stored for the benefit of evaluating problems. For example, quantitative research design once adopted by a company is always aimed at checking what kind of work balance is put so that the programs aimed at improving the employee’s welfare and performance of work are put in place.

On the other hand, research methods are the methods that a company defines and get from gathered information so that they can be used to evaluate the solutions that will be affected in the company such that productivity can be felt in the organization. For example, in conducting observation and sampling of an organization will help it in offering results to a greater degree thus decreasing the probability of any error.
